9am - 4pm Open Introduction to Acrylics
Would you like to try painting but aren't sure if you would enjoy or even could do it?
Have you considered trying your hand at painting with Acrylics but don't know where to begin? What kind of brushes to purchase ... or paint ... or canvas???
Then this Open Introduction to Acrylics Class will help you discover if painting in this medium is for you!
During the morning session, the instructor will be sharing her experience in painting with acrylics, providing information about brushes, acrylic paints, canvases and other supports, palettes, mediums and more.
The afternoon session will be given over to actually painting and experiencing what working with acrylic paint is like.
This class is designed for those who have not painted before, especially using acrylic paints, and are unsure if they should invest in supplies.
There will be time for questions and, most importantly, time to actually do a painting on a prepared canvas!
There will be a lunch break between the morning and afternoon sessions.
All supplies are provided! Those attending will not need to bring anything except a notebook if they wish to take notes.
